Since 1924, MHALA has advocated for systems changes to make it possible for people with mental health needs – our “members” – to live their best lives possible. MHALA’s mission is to to ensure that people with mental health needs achieve meaningful, healthy lives in their communities.

MHALA offers a host of integrated services that include mental health care; medical care; housing services; employment services; homeless services, including outreach, street medicine and drop-in centers; education services; and, social enterprise services.
